Information for Referees

Become a Referee

Why should you become a Referee???

  • Being a Referee builds self-esteem and self-confidence.
  • It's a great way to stay in shape.
  • It's fun.
  • You get to watch the game from the best seat in the house.
  • It improves your game by giving you an insight into what Referees are looking for and how they make decisions.
  • It prevents you, the parent/coach/player, from looking silly by yelling at a ref for no good reason.
  • It gives you more to talk about around the dinner table than "How was school?"
  • It's a great way to give back to the community.
  • You KNOW you can do a better job than THAT bozo!
  • We desperately need more adult Referees!
