Fury 01 Red Wins
State Cup
The SASC Fury 01 Red claimed the 2011 NorCal State Cup
U10 Boys Bronze 2 Champions titles earlier this month! The team went undefeated
during the whole tournament. It was a true team effort as everyone of the
players scored throughout the 9 games.
Fury 01 Red faced Santa Clara
Sporting White in the semifinals. After a slow start, the Fury won 4-1. Then it
was on to face the number one ranked team in the bracket, the Stockton Storm
for the Championship. The Fury came out determined to win. Strong play by the
entire team resulted in a 2-1 victory over the Storm to claim thier first State
Cup.
