  • Once account registration is complete, sign up for an online course and its associated field clinic
    • Cost is $75.00 for youth (adults requiring background check are $30 more). This includes the USSF 2024 license (good till Dec 2024)

  • The student must finish all modules (approximately 7-8 hours) and pass the online test before attending their field clinic

We are very excited to announce that registration for the Spring 2021 season is now OPEN! We will follow all State and County protocols at all times to keep your child and your family safe.

We will have an 8 week season starting April 10, ending June 5 (no games on Memorial Day weekend).

Please read our registration page carefully to see details including changes to game size (number of players on the field). Registration fees include a player uniform.

As always, parents are urged to consider volunteering to coach their son/daughter's team. (NEW) SASC is offering a 50% registration discount for team coaches.

This is a short registration period, please register as soon as possible and let your children's friends know about registering too. It will be very difficult to accommodate late registrants into the program. Registration closes at the end of Sunday, March 21.

Please refer to this page for more information and answers to FAQs.

Competitive Soccer - Spring 2021 Important Information

We are optimistic that games will be played this Spring season. Soccer is allowed to start games when the county reaches the Orange tier, and playing leagues and our club will be ready to execute as soon as we reach that tier. However, we think league games will start later in the Spring season than normal and it is very likely that games will run into the summer. Therefore, the Spring season will run from 2/22/21 to 7/25/21 (22 weeks) with a week off for the 4th of July holiday. Our spring season usually ends mid June and is 16 weeks long, so this is a 6 week extension.

Online player registration is now open. If you have been accepted to the Competitive program and did not receive your invitation to register please contact competitive@sunnyvalesoccer.org or your coach.

Please refer to this page for more information and answers to FAQs.

SASC Winter Recreational Soccer Program #2

Saturday Morning Training - Winter Program #2: Feb 20 - Mar 27, 2021

Registration for Program #2 is now closed!
social distant soccer

With the success of our Recreational training program, we will be a offering a second winter training program for our recreational players. Training sessions will be 60 minutes long for children in 1st and 2nd grade and 75 minutes long for children in 3rd grade and above. The program will be 6 sessions long (Fall was 5 sessions). The sessions will be held on Saturday mornings at the Sunnyvale Soccer Complex (SSC), 1095 Dunford Way, Sunnyvale CA 94087.

Following state and county guidelines, we are allowed to run socially distant training with small groups, often called pods, with rosters that must remain stable, and players cannot physically interact during training. We have developed protocols, including rigorous health screening and sanitizing requirements that all will be required to follow.

We will be focused on a variety of soccer activities within a fun learning environment, which allows for requests to build pods around friends and neighbors. If health guidelines change, for example to allow interaction between players, we will incorporate the changes into our program. We are hopeful that the county will enter the Orange tier status during this program, which will allow for games and scrimmages within practices.

Players need to be able to follow all protocols and we have limited spots available. As a result we are limiting enrollment to this program to children in 1st grade through 12th grade (High School Seniors).

The first session of the new program will start on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Registration will close no later than Wednesday, February 17, and you will be informed of your player's training time as well as required protocols on Friday, February 19. Fee is $115 for players in 1st and 2nd grade (6 x 60 minute sessions) and $140 for players in 3rd grade and above (6 x 75 minute sessions). All participants will receive a SASC face mask!

Fall 2020 Recreational Soccer

Saturday Morning Training - Session #2: Oct 24 - Nov 21

Note - Registration for Session #2 is now closed
social distant soccer

Although we are currently unable to offer a traditional recreational program this Fall (no games are currently permitted), we will be offering a modified 5-week training program, with the next session running from Sat Oct 24 - Nov 21. Training sessions will be one hour in length on Saturday mornings at the Sunnyvale Soccer Complex, 1095 Dunford Way, Sunnyvale.

Following state and county guidelines, we are allowed to run socially distant training within small groups, often called pods, with rosters that must remain stable, and players cannot physically interact during training. We have developed protocols, including rigorous health screening and sanitizing requirements, and are currently implementing them with our competitive program, after a successful summer camp season.

As a result we will offer a Saturday morning training program with our club coaches for our recreational soccer players in Grades 1-8. We will be focussed on a variety of soccer activities within a fun learning environment, which allows for requests to build pods around friends and neighbors. If health guidelines change, for example to allow interaction between players, we will incorporate the changes into our program.

Players need to be able to follow all protocols and we have limited spots available. As a result we are limiting enrollment to this program to children in 1st through 8th Grade only.

You will be informed of your player's training time as well as required protocols the day before the session starts. Fee is $95 and includes an SASC branded face mask!

SASC 5th Annual PINK OUT Campaign - October 2020

Pink Campaign Logo

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we are sadly missing our usual Pink Socks for October! It's been a great tradition to see so many of our teams wearing hot pink socks for games in October.

Our support of El Camino Health Foundation's Breast Center Mammogram Fund is important to us and to our community and we've come up with a true Covid way to raise funds again to support them!

We've found a comfortable washable mask that we're imprinting with our SASC pink ribbon logo! Masks are two layer with a comfortable cotton lining and a pocket for an optional filter layer and available in both adult and youth sizes. They have a nose wire, chin pocket and adjustable ear loops for a great fit.

SASC Mask Ordering is now closed. Thank you to those who ordered masks. They are on their way and we will deliver them to your player's practice in the next couple of weeks.

ALL profits from the mask sales will be donated to the Mammogram Fund to assist in providing mammograms to low income women.

Thank you for joining us to support a great cause in our local community in the most Covid way possible!

Stay safe, wear a mask!
